Financial Clarity Through Real Experience

We're a small group of people who've spent years working with Australian businesses. Not promising miracles—just bringing practical budget insights that actually help you understand where your money goes.

What Drives Our Work

Honest Numbers

We don't massage figures to look better. Your budget data gets analyzed as it is, with straightforward explanations about what we're seeing.

Real Comparisons

Benchmarking only works when the data's legitimate. We use actual business figures from similar operations across Tasmania and mainland Australia.

Local Understanding

Operating costs in Hobart aren't the same as Sydney. We factor in regional differences because location genuinely affects your expenses.

How We Got Here

Started in early 2023 when three of us noticed the same pattern—businesses were getting budget advice based on outdated comparisons or data from completely different markets. A café in Hobart was being measured against Melbourne metrics. Made no sense.

So we built something more useful. Collected actual spending data from Tasmanian businesses willing to share anonymized figures. Added mainland comparisons where relevant. The result? Business owners could finally see if their utilities bill was genuinely high or just felt that way.

We're not financial advisors in the traditional sense. Think of us more as your budget reality check—showing you where you stand compared to similar operations, without the usual consulting fluff.

Meet Someone From The Team

We're a tight crew, but here's one person who can explain what we actually do day-to-day.

Bellamy Reeves, Budget Analysis Specialist at leyoxotive

Bellamy Reeves

Budget Analysis Specialist

I spend most days digging through spreadsheets—sounds boring, but it's oddly satisfying when patterns emerge. Worked in retail finance for six years before joining leyoxotive in mid-2024. What I like about this work is that we're not trying to sell anyone on investment schemes or complicated restructuring.

My job is simple: compare your numbers to similar businesses, point out where things look unusual, and explain why that might be happening. Sometimes it's just your industry norms. Other times there's a genuine opportunity to adjust spending. Either way, you get straight information without the sales pitch.

Outside work? I foster cats and play terrible guitar. Both activities involve more failure than success, which somehow makes me better at spotting unrealistic budget expectations.

We occasionally bring on people who understand numbers and can explain them to non-accountants. If that sounds like you and you're in Tasmania, reach out. We're growing slowly but steadily through 2025.
